Who we are
Teachvara is exclusively licensed to Innovara Sol Limited by its author, who keeps ownership of it. Innovara Sol Limited sells, licenses and runs Teachvara. In this notice "we" means Innovara Sol Limited.

Our two roles
Organisation hubs (for example name.teachvara.com). The organisation that runs the hub decides what is held about its people and why. It is the controller. We are its processor: we hold and handle the data only on its instructions, under a data processing agreement. For anything held in an organisation's hub, ask that organisation first.
Individual accounts, teachvara.com and billing. For people who sign up for their own Teachvara account, for the accounts of people who set up an organisation, for billing and for this website, we are the controller.

We do not sell data, show adverts or use advertising trackers.
Payments
Card payments are taken by Stripe on an account in the name of Innovara Sol Limited. Your card details go to Stripe and are never stored by us.
Who we share data with
Only the companies we use to run the service, each under contract, and only what each needs:

The service and its data are hosted in the United Kingdom. Where a provider handles data outside the UK, it does so under UK data protection safeguards. We tell organisations before we add a new provider. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your network address when a page loads.
We may also share data when the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit or object to its use, or move it to another service. Write to [email protected]. We reply within one month. If your data is in an organisation's hub, we pass your request to that organisation, as it decides.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put things right first.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as hashes, and access is limited to what is needed. To report a security problem, email [email protected].
Changes
We will update this notice when how we use data changes, and show the date at the top. For important changes we tell account holders by email.
